Night to Honor Israel

“A Night to Honor Israel” is an expression of Christian solidarity with the State of Israel and the Jewish people. The first “Night to Honor Israel” began on September 10, 1981 at the Theater of Performing Arts in San Antonio,Texas.  This event was a huge success and would later become the backbone of a new grassroots movement of other similar events.  “A Night to Honor Israel” was later hosted in  Houston, Ft.Worth, Austin, Dallas, Corpus Christi, Tulsa and Phoenix and again in San Antonio.

“A Night to Honor Israel” has been presented since then in all parts of Israel. It’s an event that has a proven track record of bringing Christians and Jews together in a non-threatening, non-conversionary environment that promotes genuine brotherly love.

The Bible commands us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem(Psalm 122:6), to speak out for Zion’s sake (Isaiah 62:1), to be watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem(Isaiah 62:6) and to bless the Jewish people (Genesis 12:3). These and many other Bible verses have one overriding message–as Christians we have a Biblical obligation to defend Israel and the Jewish people in their time of need. During the Holocaust, too many Christians were silent, and we were left to mourn the slaughter of 6 million Jews.

Today, Bible-believing Christians must speak up and stand up for Israel. We must act to do whatever we can to protect Israel’s 6 million Jews from the second Holocaust.

We must get it right this time. Our Christian faith demands it. The times require it. Silence is not an option. We will be silent no longer.  We pray that you will attend “A Night to Honor Israel” to stand up and speak up for the State of Israel and the Jewish people.

Night to Honor Israel in Butler

Crossroad Community is committed to  see many “Nights to Honor Israel” in Butler and Western Pennsylvania.   Our endeavor began in the summer of 2009 after several of us attended the Washington Summit in WashingtonD.C. Our Pastor and his wife (Executive Director) were appointed as spokespersons for District 3 on behalf of Christians United Israel in summer of 2009.  It was then God placed on their hearts to host “A Night to Honor Israel” here in this region.  After two years of heartache, disappointment and deep resistance by many Christian leaders and churches here in Butler county, we began to witness new doors opening in the summer of 2011.

On September 14, Crossroad Community hosted a leaders’ luncheon for Israel in Butler.  It is only the beginning here in Western Pennsylvania.  And we call on every Christian and church in Butler and Western Pennsylvania to honor Israel.

A Call to Christian Leaders in Butler

Crossroad Community calls every Christian church and leader in Butler county and Western Pennsylvaniato stand with Israeland the Jewish people.  Historically, Butleris known as the gateway to the Midwest; thus, we believe a revolution to America begins inWestern Pennsylvania. As the old saying goes, “so goes Butler goes the nation.”  We believe a movement of God unlike ever seen in history is coming to Butler and Western Pennsylvania.
